The Pumpkin Patch!

Chalk up another super busy week for the Vargas family! This week was another busy one for us. On Tuesday Toni had her normal appointment for Emma and it was decided that her sugar levels are starting to get too high and she's been put back on insulin for the remainder of the pregnancy. It's not the news either of us wanted to hear but it's for the best and Toni said that the insulin is definitely helping her feel better so it might be a good thing. They don't see her having to stay on it after Emma was born which is obviously a good thing. :) She'll be going back this Tuesday so they can download her meter readings and decide if the dosage needs adjustment or not. Everything with Emma looked fine and her heartrate was 150. Tomorrow marks week #30 in the pregnancy so we're really in the home stretch now!

Caitlin had a good week this week. On Saturday morning we went to the Pumpkin patch again which she really enjoyed. She was super excited and kept running around yelling, "my pumpkin patch, my pumpkin patch". She picked out her own pumpkin again this year and we got a bigger one that we're going to carve with her one night this week. Should be a lot of fun. :) After the pumpkin patch Aunt Sarah came by with Cousin Maddie. Caitlin had a lot of fun playing with her and it was a nice visit. I wish we could spend more time hanging out but it seems like lately free time has been next to impossible to come by. This week I will be on call and I'm really hoping it's slow and uneventfull. :)
