Well it's definitely been a busy month since my last post! To briefly recap, Toni and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary which was nice. We went to Camp Verde outside of San Antonio for a nice meal and also took the girls to a place called South Garden which was a Chinese restaurant that Toni and I ate at quite frequently when we first got married and lived at our old house. It was nice to take the girls and show them a part of our past. We were actually such regulars there that the owner remember us and we haven't been there in over 12 years! We've also ben spending our weekends at Six Flags which has been fun. I think everyone has enjoyed the water park more than the theme park but both have been nice ways to spend time with the family.
We also took the girls downtown one night to watch a play called Aladdin Jr. It was put on by kids and the girls knew one of the girls who was in it. It was actually a fun time and we enjoyed it. The last big event was the spelling bee that Emma was in at school. She came in 15th out of the 18 students who qualified. We were both very proud of her but I think she got robbed. She spelled the word right but watching the video, she said the last letter very quietly and I don't think the judge heard her. Either way, we're all very proud of her.
I'll definitely try to get back to posting once a week. I just wanted to do a quick update to catch everyone up.
