Merry Christmas!

 

2018 is coming to a close a lot faster than I'd like but I wanted to at least get some pictures put up. Merry Christmas everyone!

 

Halloween is almost here!

 

 

I can't believe it but Halloween is just about here! We've been pretty busy. Last weekend was especially busy. On Saturday we went to a wedding which was fun and then on Sunday we went back to the apple orchard for their Pumpkin Patch. It was a lot of fun and I'm hoping this year to go out to a local Christmas Tree farm and give the kids the experience of cutting down their own tree. Toni and I did it once back before the kids were born and I think it would be a nice getaway for them. Other than that, Toni and the girls did a 5k fun run. As you can see in the picture, they had a lot of fun.

Back in the swing of things

The semester is back in full swing now and the girls are getting back into the school schedule. I was on call the week before last so I was able to go meet the girls for lunch on separate days. I'm going to try to make more of an effort to go see them for lunch this year. The last couple of weeks have been pretty quite. We've been getting a lot of rain so we've mostly just stayed home. Hopefully the weather clears up soon. We want to go to Fiesta Texas for their Halloween party stuff that they have.

Getting Back In The Groove

 

 

This was a short week with Monday being a holiday last week. Toni and the girls had a girls trip to Brownsville for the long weekend and had a lot of fun. Other than that, the week pretty much flew by. We've been getting a lot of rain so we stayed this weekend and just hung out around the house. This week I'm on call so I'll be stuck at home a lot again..

Another summer has come and gone.. Caitlin is now in 5th grade and Emma is in 2nd.. Looking back at this blog, I just can't believe over 10 years have passed... The summer was fun, we got to spend time together and enjoy ourselves. My goal (again...) is to try to get back to updating the blog every Sunday or Monday. I really feel sad that I haven't kept up with it more.. For now, here's more pictures from the summer. :)

Summer vacation!

 

 

The school year ended really fast and here we are in summer vacation! The school year ended well and the first thing we did was to go to Austin to the annual Green Room Meetup. We had a lot of fun, my only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time there. I've posted some pictures of our trip and hopefully can post more later on.
