Vaccinated

This week was fairly quiet thankfully. On Friday I went and got my 2nd dosage of the Pfizer covid vaccine. I had heard all sorts of horror stories about side effects but besides being slightly tired, I felt fine. Toni is now going to go get her vaccine so we'll both be covered soon. This morning we also went out for breakfast to Jim's. After that we went to Best Buy to look around and got Toni a 34 inch ultra wide monitor. It's really nice and it should make her Real Estate tasks much easier. Other than that, things were slow so I'm going to keep this post short. I hope everyone has a great week!

Busy...

 This week was another busy one in the Vargas house. Caitlin had her appointment with the back Doctor where the news was mixed. Her curvature increased from a 21 / 19 curve to 23/ 21. While that is an increase, the Doctor was happy that the amount of increase was slower than at her last appointment which means the brace is at least slowing the curving down. I also went to the CVS Minute Clinic to get my tongue looked at again. They gave me more medication and we'll see how it goes. Toni has been keeping busy with real estate. This weekend she hosted an open house and during the week had a show. No sales yet but I think it's only a matter of time. This week should be another busy one. On Friday I go to get my 2nd covid shot and then next week Toni will probably schedule her first. 

Sea World Season Pass

This week I was on call and thankfully it was a pretty quiet week. Toni took the girls to meet her sister and her family at Sea World on Saturday. They got season passes so we'll probably be spending some time at Sea World soon. :) I stayed home because I was on call but hopefully we can all go together soon. Other than that, not a lot new to report. I'll be glad to not be on call anymore. This week we also took Caitlin for her Orthodontist appointment. It looks like she'll be getting rubber bands on her next appointment and then probably getting the braces off. This coming week I will still be going in at 6:30 every morning. Luckily there are only 2 more weeks to go of having to get up so early. In other news, the issues on my tongue came back a couple of weeks ago. If it doesn't clear up some time this week I'll probably go see a doctor about it. The dentist thought that it was an allergic reaction to something but the fact that it's cleared up and then come back has me doubting that. Maybe it's something I've eaten  but at this point I really don't know. I think it's "Geographic tongue" which is thankfully not a serious condition but unfortunately that doesn't have a cure and can sometimes linger for months or years.. I'll take it a day at a time and see how it goes. I hope everyone is having a great week!

Updating Caitin's Room

This week was fairly quiet. We got Caitlin some stuff for her birthday that we ended up giving her early. I also got a mount for the katana that I got for her at a garage sale. It looks pretty good up on the wall. The only other news to report is that on Friday I went and got my first covid shot. Overall the process wasn't too bad considering just how many people there were. The line was pretty long but from start to finish, I only have to wait around 30 minutes. I go back in 3 weeks for the 2nd dose. I didn't have any side effects from the first one so I'm hoping that happens with the 2nd one as well. I'm going to keep it short this week. I'm going to be on call this coming week so it should be fairly quiet.
