A couple of days ago we awoke to find that Caitlin has her first permanent tooth coming in! You can see it in the first picture. The next day, we noticed that there's actually another one coming in next to that one too! It looks like pretty soon the Tooth Fairy is going to be visiting the Vargas house! Caitlin is very proud of her new tooth and already had a dentist appointment set for this week. :-) The girls are growing so fast! If you look at the picture of Caitlin's hand, you'll see that she has her hand on a clay impression that was made of my hand when I was in Kindergarten! At the time it was taken, I was probably 6 months older than she is but it was so cool to see that she's gotten so big. Caitlin is doing really good in school and Emma is doing really good with her letters and numbers. She's talking in such clear sentences now!
In other news, we went to Brownsville for the weekend which was nice. The girls both had lots of fun and it was nice to get away from San Antonio. Especially considering that the city had been extremely cold and was even shut down because of ice before we left! In Brownsville we went to the Children's Museum which the girls really enjoyed.
