Fun Run!

Last week was a fairly quiet week for us. The girls had their "Fun Run" at school to raise money. They both did very well and had a lot of fun. During the week I went back to the dealer to get my windows tinted. I'm starting to get more used to driving the truck but it's still hard to handle in small areas. While I was in the area I stopped at the Lego store and got the Disney Cinderella's Castle set. It's over 4000 pieces and we're all putting it together as a family. It's taking a lot of time and I think it might be a little too complicated for the girls but we're getting through it.

Planes, Trucks and Ghosts!

This week was a busy week for us. Tuesday night was Halloween and we went to trick-or-treating with the girls around the neighborhood for a little while. The weather wasn't very nice and was wet and cold but at least it didn't rain while we were out. The girls had a good time and Caitlin was very proud of her 189 piece candy haul. Yes, she counted it. :)

Friday night marked 17 years since Toni and I met. I honestly can't believe it's been that long! We spent a good chunk of the night at the Nissan dealer where I purchased a new 2017 Nissan Titan XD truck. The truck is very nice and with all of the options and warranty is quite a step up from my old one.

Yesterday we tried to go to the airshow but got there a little late so decided to just go to the mall and hang out. We had a good time walking around but didn't buy anything. They are starting to decorate for Christmas which seems crazy that it could already be that time of the year but it was really nice.

Today we went out to breakfast and back to the airshow. It was nice but we ended up having to park over a mile away. That and the heat made it really tiring being out. But it was fun watching some of the flights and seeing all of the aircraft. There was a tank on display and the company who owns it will let you drive it for a fee. It costs like $400 but at some point, I'd like to do it just to say that I've driven a tank. At least not a tank with a Nissan logo on it! :)
