Sitting up!

This week saw Emma sit up by herself for the first time! On Friday night she was laying on her stomach and rolled around and sat herself up! Now she's doing it all the time and now it's pretty common for us to walk into her room and find her sitting up in her crib. She's trying to stand on her own and is able to pull herself up with some help from us but isn't quite there yet. She's doing great sitting up though and is getting very close to crawling. She's able to move around backwards and will get up on all fours and rock back and forth. It won't be much longer I don't think. She's also been extremely vocal and we think she is teething. She's constantly chewing on her hand but refused to take a pacifier. While no teeth have broken through the gums yet, we think we might be able to see the shape of a top tooth getting ready to.

Caitlin is doing really good also. Today we went to see Cousin Ryan and Maddie. Caitlin was very excited to go see everyone and enjoyed playing with Maddie. Today for the first time she also started playing with my ipad and now pretty much has it down how launch the applications she wants to play with. She's even figured out how to start her shows on Netflix and loves watching Dino Squad and the newer Godzilla cartoon from the late 90's.
