Our trip to the Zoo!

This weekend we took Caitlin to the Zoo. We've taken her a couple of other times but she never seemed too interested in it until this trip. She was fascinated with all of the animals and is now even imitating Lions and Monkeys when we ask her to. We'll say, "How does the Lion go?" and she'll respond with "Aaarrrrr". When we ask about a monkey, she'll go "oo-oo-oo". I was able to get some video of her doing her impressions which is hilarious to watch. Last night she brought us the DVD for The Lion King and started making her lion noise! She seems to enjoy the movie a lot and I think she really enjoyed the trip to the zoo. She loved the lions, hippo, and monkeys. She really enjoyed the petting zoo. They had small goats that Caitlin enjoyed petting and brushing. We also took her to the children's area where she had a lot of fun walking through their "cave" play set and fishing with a magnetic fishing pole. She was actually able to catch one in the little play pond on her own! We're hoping to get some good use out of our season pass this year.
The first picture this week is one of Caitlin's professional Easter pics that she got taken at school. The pictures came out very good. I'll try to scan them in and post them. The 2nd pic is of Caitlin at the petting zoo. Once she got comfortable with the goats, she was chasing them around with her brush trying to brush them. :) The 3rd pic is of Caitlin at ihop having breakfast before we went to the Zoo. The last pic is of her tonight. I was watching TV and she walked over to my computer, climbed onto the chair and started moving the mouse around like she sees me do! At one point Toni told her not the press keys and Caitlin looked at her and said no and started wagging her finger at her!
Tonight we were watching the Disney Channel and during one of the commercials the video for the song "Naturally" by Selena Gomez came on and Caitlin jumped out of the chair and started dancing around! When the video was over, she started saying "gain" (like "again"). She must have danced to the song at least 10 times! She would just start spinning around in circles while the song played. We stood close by for when she's lose her balance. It was so funny to watch how excited she got!
