This week's biggest news was the birth of Caitlin's new cousin - Madelyn Brooke! Congratulations to my sister Sarah and her husband Dan on the birth of their first child! Madelyn is so cute and so tiny! Caitlin will probably meet her sometime this week and we're all looking forward to seeing her reaction to her!
This week Caitlin continued trying to talk and loves to use the word "no" quite a bit! She also said the word "nana" and attempted to say "Mandy" in reference to Nana Bev's dog. Mandy comes out "Mamee" when she tries to say it. :) This week Caitlin also showed how much she understands what we tell her. She picked up a napkin that had fallen on the floor and when we told her to throw it in the trash, she walked over to the trashcan and threw it away. She also gets very excited if we ask her if she wants to open or close the garage door and loves pressing the button and turning to watch the door open or close. :) She'll also follow us out to the garage where our freezer is and if we give her something and tell her to take it to Mommy or Daddy, she'll carry it into the kitchen and hand it to Toni or I! :) It is amazing to watch her every day!
