I'm still standin!

Caitlin continued her quest for mobility this week from where she left off last weekend. This week she started standing on her own using us only for balance and not so much to push off from. She seems to enjoy standing more than sitting now and tries to stand pretty much all of the time. She's able to stand on her own for several minutes at a time as her legs continue to get stronger. Although we continue to stay close, it's becoming apparent that very soon she'll be able to stand on her own for long periods without a problem. I think she's going to start trying to walk very soon. Next weekend we'll probably go get gates for the stairs and locks for the cabinets.
This week Caitlin got the same cold that I had several weeks ago and Toni's been fighting for a couple of weeks now. She had quite a bit of congestion and was throwing up mucus last Sunday night so on Monday morning Toni took her to the Doctor. Luckily nothing serious was wrong but she does have an ear and sinus infection. She's on a couple of different medicines and seems to be pretty much over her cold now.
At daycare, they had a professional photographer come out and take pictures of all of the kids. We should be able to see how they came out sometime this week. If they're any good and the price is right, we may purchase them. If we do, I'll post them. One of the nice days this week, Caitlin also got to go with some of the other kids at daycare on a wagon ride around the outside play area. It was only a toy wagon with a couple other kids strapped in with her but they said Caitlin seemed to enjoy it and they are getting some pictures printed up that we'll try to get copies of too.
This week should be pretty busy for me. Toni will be in Arizona for a couple days this week so me and Caitlin will have some daddy-daughter time a couple of nights. Work is going pretty well and so far I am enjoying the new job. With classes back in from spring break, I was expecting the worst but it wasn't too bad. My drive in is taking 20-30 minutes and the parking isn't bad. Hopefully it'll stay that way. :) Hope everyone has a great week!
