Those were the words of the Doctor today to describe the growth of Caitlin. As he said, you've spent 5 1/2 months growing a 1 pound baby and the growth over the next 4 1/2 will be fast and furious.
Today's appointment went pretty well. Caitlin's heartbeat sounded extremely strong and seems like it's slowing down because she's getting bigger. Most of this appointment was spent just talking with the Doctor. He said the sonogram from a few weeks ago looked very good. He also said that Toni's blood sugar levels (which have been steadily rising) are to be expected. Usually around the 6th month of pregnancy is when gestational diabetes shows up so he's very interested in how it looks in 3 weeks. Our next appointment with him is April 11th.
We got information about the hospital and scheduling classes for labor which we will call about next week to get started with those. Some time during April we will probably also go tour the hospital. I really can't believe how fast this has gone up to this point!
Toni's heading to Brownsville tomorrow for a long Easter weekend while I stay at home doing on-call.. Our next appointment of interest will be next Thursday. We have our 2nd sonogram! We're both looking forward to it. They told us that we can bring in a VHS tape to record it so we're very excited about that. Once we get it, we'll transfer it to DVD and hopefully get copies sent out to everyone who wants one.

Only 4 1/2 months left?! Holy cow that went fast!! Can't wait to see more sonogram pics. :)
