This week's appointment didn't go as we hoped. While everything with Peanut is still looking good, some of Toni's tests revealed that her diabetes will require her to go on insulin. The Doctor is going to setup a home health care visit so a professional can sit with her and teach her how to administer the insulin. While it's not the news either of us were wanting to hear, there may be some good from it. Toni's been pretty sick from the pills she has to take so hopefully the insulin injections will help her to at least feel better on a day to day basis.
We didn't get a picture again this week but the Doctor told us that we'll get quite a few for the rest of the pregnancy. We did hear the heartbeat again and found out that we can rent one of the machines to hear the heartbeat off the internet for around $29 a month. We're thinking about renting one soon.
Other than that, things are going well. I've dropped another 4 pounds so far this year and I've started adding weight training into the mix with the new Bowflex we got 2 weekends ago. This week we have our Dentist appointment on Friday and then the following Friday we have another appointment with the Doctor so maybe we'll get a new picture then. :)
